The Garden of Eden

After Yahweh created Adam and Eve, he placed them in a beautiful paradise called the Garden of Eden. Humans were created differently than animals. They are not ruled by instinct, but instead can think for themselves. Even though Adam was made from the dust of the earth, He was created in the very image of Elohim.

The Garden of Eden was filled with every kind of delicious fruit. But in the middle stood two trees. One tree was called the Tree of Life. The other was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

One day Eve was walking in the Garden, and Satan, who took the form of a serpent, confronted her. He asked her, “Why does Yahweh not allow you to eat from the Tree of Knowledge? He knows if you eat of its fruit you will become like Him!” So Eve ate and gave some of the fruit to Adam.

Yahweh was very angry and punished all of them including the serpent! Adam and Eve further complicated matters by not taking responsibility for their sin, each putting blame on someone else. This was the beginning of many problems and suffering for all of mankind which will only be solved when Yahshua returns.

SCRIPTURE TO REMEMBER:
